What is the automated bin booking service?

The automated bin booking system allows you to book in bin services with Waste Management without needing to speak with our team by entering a pin code associated with your bin.

 

Why should I use the automated bin booking service?

The service is available 24/7 allowing you to quickly and easily book your collection, knowing that your bin will be collected on the next available collection day.

 

Do I need to call in every time my bin needs collecting?

Yes, if you have an on-call bin you need to book a collection. If you would like to move to a rostered service please fill in the contact form below or contact your account manager.

 

Can I sign up for the automated bin booking service?

Yes, fill in the contact form below and one of our team will contact you with all of the information you need to get started.

 

Can I enter a purchase order number?

No, the automated bin booking service cannot process changes to purchase order numbers. You will need to speak to one of our team if you require a purchase order number on each collection.

However, we can set up purchase order numbers to cover all collections in a month or year if you would like to use the automated bin booking service.

 

Can I book skip deliveries or removals through the service?

No, the automated bin booking service cannot process deliveries or removals. These can be managed through the Go Build app if you are a Building and Construction customer.

 

Does the 0800 number replace the local phone number I have always used?

No, you can use the local phone number you have previously used to access the booking service or start using 0800 826 545 instead.

 

I called the number and put in my pin code but my bin has not been collected?

Your collection will have been booked for the next time our driver is in your area, this may not always be the next day. If your usual collection day has passed please contact us so we can look into it for you.

 

I have a rostered collection for my bin can I use this service to book extra collections?

Yes, if you have a rostered collection service – that is, you have your collection the same day each week – you can request an extra collection, but we can only complete this extra collection if our truck is in your area prior to your regular collection day

If I have two general waste frontload bins need emptying, do I need to call twice to book in collections?

No, our driver will empty any full bins that are the same size and waste type. If you have bins of different waste types and sizes you will need to call and enter the pin number for each of those bins to book collections.

If you need a skip bin exchanged you will need to make a call for each bin that needs exchanging.

I’m a B&C customer and I’ve heard of Go Build but I’m not on it, how can I join?

I’m not a B&C customer but want to join Go Build, how can I join?

Thanks for your interest – we currently provide this tailored solution to our B&C customers only.

 

I’ve advised that I’m interested in joining Go Build, when will I get my login details?

Our team are working to get you set-up now. They will contact you by email with your login details when this is complete.

 

I have a problem with Go Build, how can I get it fixed?

Let us know the problem you’re experiencing by clicking ‘Help’ at the bottom right of Go Build. We’re working to constantly improve Go Build and appreciate all the feedback we receive.

 

Can I have multiple people set up on my Go Build account?

You can have as many people as you like. If you complete the contact us form with the first name, last name, email and position of the person you’d like to add to Go Build the team can get them set-up.

 

How do I know when my bin will be dropped off / exchanged / removed?

Go Build will notify through email and / or text when a change is made to your service. This includes changes to your bin delivery, exchange or removal.

 

How am I charged through Go Build?

You have a choice of paying on your account with a purchase order number or immediately using a credit card in Go Build.

 

What products can I get through Go Build?

Your current Go Build account has been set up to reflect the products in your Waste Management contract. If you’d like to add a new product, we can offer Skips, Port-O-Lets and FlexiBins (availability varies by region). Please contact your account manager to get additional services set up.
