WM New Zealand publishes a community newsletter “Dairy Flat Newsletter”, produced in partnership between the Community Liaison Committee and the Dairy Flat Community Trust. The newsletter is published four times a year and is delivered to households in the Dairy Flat catchment. The newsletter helps keep the community connected, providing updates on what’s going on in the area, together with a substantial local business directory, connecting people with local businesses.
WM New Zealand currently sponsors the Silverdale Pony Club (officially known as North Harbour Pony Club Silverdale Branch Incorporated) to deliver the Dairy Flat Community Newsletter each quarter. This is a rather huge task for the club as we are located in the country and each property can be some distance apart. The community is growing quickly and there are now a total of around 1300 newsletters printed and delivered to the local residents.
