Waste types accepted

  • All dry general waste (if you have wet or special waste, please contact us and we will advise you on how best to manage this)
  • Greenwaste (Flax is not accepted in green waste)

Note:

  • If you have items that may be reusable or recyclable, please take these to the Waitaki Resource Recovery Park on Chelmer Street.
  • Tyres are not accepted in general waste, please talk to us about options.
    Please do not dispose of batteries in general waste, talk to us about alternatives.
  • We do not accept hazardous waste - e.g. asbestos, contaminated soil, animal carcases, hazardous chemicals.
  • Right of admission reserved.
