SCAM ALERT: WELLINGTON
We have had reports from our customers in and around Wellington of a person claiming they’re from Waste Management selling ‘rubbish2go’ branded torches. This person has been spotted in Epuni and Petone in Lower Hutt, wearing hi-vis safety clothing with only a ‘Visitor’ label. The person claims they are selling torches to prepare for a civil emergency and quickly flashes a form of ID which is difficult to read.
Please be aware this person does not work for and has no relationship with Waste Management.
