On behalf of the Waste Management team, we would like to thank everyone who has been involved in the consultation and in making submissions at Council’s public hearing for the proposed Auckland Regional Landfill.
We appreciate the time you have taken to understand the proposal and the feedback you have given.
After several weeks of evidence from Waste Management, mana whenua, interested parties and Auckland Council, the Resource Consent and Private Plan Change hearing adjourned for the year on Thursday 17 December.
The hearing will recommence on Wednesday 27 January 2021, with two additional days scheduled for Waste Management’s right of reply.

We have provided our rebuttal statements to the commissioners ahead of the reconvening date in January. They are available online by following the instructions below. You will also find all of the evidence from all parties to the hearing there.
