  1. The promoter is Waste Management NZ Limited (“WMNZ”) of 318 East Tamaki Road, Auckland. By entering into this promotion you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  1. The Great Spring Clean Up Promotion 20 2020 commences at 07.00 am on 1 September 2020 and closes at 11.59 pm on 30 November 2020 (“Promotion Period”).
  1. WMNZ is giving 36 customers the chance to win the cost of their purchase back.
  1. Existing residential private subscription customers who have an up-to-date account (“Current”) during the Promotion Period, are automatically entered into the draw. If a Current customer purchases another Waste Management NZ Limited residential product or service online or at an authorised retail outlet or renew a Waste Management NZ Limited residential Wheelie Bin subscription (before due date noted on renewal invoice) during the Promotion Period, and where applicable enter their details at the time of purchase, they will receive another entry. The more products a customer purchases, the more chances they have to win. Please note that not all residential products and services are available in all areas.
  1. WMNZ will donate $1 for every purchase of a residential skip, residential wheelie bin or residential FlexiBin collection to Salvation Army, up to the value of $10,000. Purchase must take place between 1 September and 30 November 2020.
  1. To enter, entrants must purchase a Waste Management NZ Limited residential product or service online or at an authorised retail outlet or renew a Waste Management NZ Limited residential Wheelie Bin subscription (before due date noted on renewal invoice) during the Promotion Period, and where applicable enter their details at the time of purchase. Residential products include General Waste and Garden Waste Wheelie Bin services (including PayAsUGO and WMGO), Skip Bins or FlexiBins. Purchase of a PayAsUGO service is equivalent to 1 entry into draw.  The more products a customer purchases, the more chances they have to win. Please note that not all residential products and services are available in all areas.
  1. Purchase of FlexiBin Trade will not result of entry into draw.
  1. Existing WMNZ residential private subscription customers who have an up-to-date account  during the Promotion Period (“Current Customer”), are automatically entered into the draw. If a Current Customer purchases another Waste Management NZ Limited residential product or service online or at an authorised retail outlet or renews a Waste Management NZ Limited residential Wheelie Bin subscription (before due date noted on renewal invoice) during the Promotion Period, and where applicable enter their details at the time of purchase, the Current Customer will receive another entry. The more products and services a customer purchases, the more chances they have to win. Please note that not all residential products and services are available in all areas.
    Entrants who purchase a FlexiBin® product and collection service are only eligible to win if collection is booked during the Promotion Period. If a FlexiBin product is purchased within the Promotion Period but a collection is not booked prior to expiry of the Promotion Period, you are not eligible to participate in this promotion. If a FlexiBin product is not purchased within the Promotion Period but a collection is booked during the Promotion Period, you are eligible to win.
  2. Entrants must be 16 years of age or over and a New Zealand resident to be eligible to enter the draw.
     
  3. Employees of Waste Management NZ Limited are not entitled to enter the promotion.
     
  4. Entry is not limited. If a customer purchases more than one Residential Product or Service online or at an authorised retail outlet during the Promotion Period, they will be entitled to one entry for each valid Residential Product or Service purchased.
     
  5. WMNZ reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who WMNZ believes has tampered with the entry process, acted in a fraudulent or otherwise dishonest or inappropriate manner or breaches these terms and conditions of entry. WMNZ’s decision is final.
     
  6. The winners will be determined by a draw from all valid entries.
     
  7. The prize draw will be completed by on and around 16 December.  December 2020.  35 valid entries randomly drawn from the pool of entries will win the cost of their winning purchase back in the form of a refund by transfer to a valid New Zealand bank account.
  1. Each winner who wins the cost of their purchase will receive the value of their winning purchase in the form of a refund by transfer to a valid New Zealand bank account.
  1. WMGO wheelie bin customers will win back the annual value of subscription service. PayAsUGO wheelie bin customers will win back the forecasted annual value based on 100% collection and no pausing of service.
     
  2. Prize is not transferable.
     
  3. The winners will be notified by email or phone using the details provided on entry to the promotion.  If a winner is not able to be contacted (that is, cannot be reached by telephone and/or does not respond to email) within two working days of the draw, that winner will automatically lose his or her winning entry, and another winner will be randomly redrawn from the pool of entries on the same terms as the original draw. This will happen until all winners are confirmed and notified.
     
  4. The winners will have their details published on the Waste Management website for 2 weeks following the draw date. By accepting a prize, each winner consents to his or her name and/or photograph being used for such publicity and marketing purposes as reasonably determined by WMNZ (subject to the Privacy Act 1993).
     
  5. WMNZ will not be responsible for any late, lost or misdirected entries, including but not limited to entries not received due to technical problems.
     
  6. WMNZ and its related companies, employees and agencies shall not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with entering this promotion or claiming/winning any prize, or availing themselves of any prize, except as required by law.
     
  7. WMNZ is not responsible for the transmission or receipt of any incorrect information associated with entries, either caused by user error or any equipment or programming malfunction associated with the promotion.
     
  8. WMNZ’s decision in respect of any dispute or interpretation of these terms and conditions is final and no correspondence will be entered into with any entrant or third party. WMNZ reserves the right to change any aspect of this promotion at any time without notice.
     
  9. All entries remain the property of WMNZ. All personal information collected will be held by WMNZ in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993 and WMNZ’s privacy policy. Under the Privacy Act 1993, entrants have the right to access and correct any such personal information. Entrants may correct any of their details by sending an email to orders@wastemanagement.co.nz
     
  10. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
