High scores in the Christchurch City Council Resident Satisfaction Survey

High scores in the Christchurch City Council Resident Satisfaction Survey

Christchurch residents are more than satisfied with their waste collection services – which are proudly provided by Waste Management – as shown in the latest Christchurch City Council (CCC) Customer Satisfaction Survey results.

Released in July, survey participants were asked to evaluate their satisfaction regarding the Christchurch City Council’s three bin kerbside collection of waste, including kerbside recycling, residual waste and organic waste.

The overall satisfaction with the kerbside collection service received the highest rating again this year:

  • Satisfaction with organic waste collection – 85% (2016 - 82%)
  • Satisfaction with kerbside recycling – 94% (2016 - 95%)
  • Satisfaction with residual waste collection – 93% (2016 - 92%)

When asked which service the residents feel the Council is performing the best in delivering – rubbish & recycling collection service was the top answer across all demographics.

Waste Management have been at the top of the CCC Resident Satisfaction Survey for several years in a row.

We were proud to receive comments of support from residents such as “The rubbish collection service is ahead of other places within NZ and the world” and “Collection is very good. The service helps to keep Christchurch streets clean”.

We will continue to work hard in providing an excellent service to our customers.
