Following the recent opening of our tyre recycling facility, Waste Management is today installing new equipment on-site.
This was necessary because we were advised by our customer that the specification for the TDF needed to be changed.
On receiving that advice we immediately ordered new manufacturing parts to ensure the TDF met the customers’ requirements.
New screen panels will enable Waste Management to address changes to the specification of the tyre derived fuel produced by their shredder for their overseas customer.
We expect to return to normal planned output on Tuesday, with TDF to be loaded into containers ready for export by the end of the week.
