It's been an exciting time for the team in Wellington with our sponsorship of Te Papa's Terracotta Warriors: Guardians of Immortality, with a specially branded Waste Management truck drawing attention to our support of this exhibition.
Sarah Whiteman, our Wellington Regional Manager, who was one of the over 670 attendees at the launch event on 13th December said, "Can’t explain the presence you feel being amongst these amazing warriors, it was truly wonderful."
Regarded by some as an eighth wonder of the world, this intimate encounter with a selection of the remarkable 2,300-year-old terracotta warriors – which for more than 2,000 years secretly guarded the tomb of Qin Shihuang, China’s First Emperor - runs until 22 April 2019.
