After the success of our 2017 and 2018 Graduate Programmes, we have recently welcomed our third intake of seven graduates to our Waste Management team.
With two graduate streams, Generalist Leadership and Specialist Leadership, we have attracted graduates from a range of disciplines.
The Generalist Leadership stream involves rotating placements across Waste Management’s teams over the two year programme. It is designed to provide a good understanding of the industry, allowing graduates to move into operational leadership roles.
The Specialist Leadership stream provides an opportunity to gain a wealth of experience over a two-year period within their chosen profession, preparing graduates for specialised leadership roles.
In their first week, the group underwent induction, visiting our various sites and facilities, receiving business overview presentations from numerous executives and teams, then even joined a truck driver to experience their typical day.
Waste Management had more than 180 applications from across engineering, marketing, supply chain/operations, commerce/finance, information technology and environmental science for this intake and were impressed with the calibre of applications and the selected graduates.
